Back on January 11, 2014, I made a pledge (to myself) to turn my health around from the inside out. That meant throwing out all of my previous eating habits and begin eating clean. This also included exercising regularly . My new eating habits include: NO- -Processed foods -Refined sugars -Foods labeled as low-fat, reduced-fat, sugar-free, etc (because these foods almost always contain additives and chemicals that are very bad for your body) -Vegetable, hydrogenated and partly-hydrogenated oils -Foods that contain GMOs and pesticides Instead I cook all of our family meals from scratch using mostly organic produce, healthy oils and fats (coconut, olive, grapeseed, grass-fed ghee, organic butter, etc), organic full fat dairy, honey and coconut sugar in place of refined sugar, whole wheat grains (in moderation for myself) and mostly organic proteins.
