BREC Extreme Sports invites you to celebrate National Go Skateboarding Day on Sat., June 21 by skateboarding at one of the three BREC skateparks.

Go Skateboarding Day is an official annual holiday designated by the International Association of Skateboard Companies (IASC) to promote the sport of skateboarding.

BREC offers three skateparks across East Baton Rouge Parish. The Perkins Rd. Extreme Sports Park, 7122 Perkins Rd., is a 30,000 square foot, concrete skatepark built by California Skateparks and accommodates both skateboards and bicycles.

The smaller community modular skateparks are located at Old Hammond Highway Park, 8900 Old Hammond Highway, in Baton Rouge and Church Street Park, 3210 Church St., in Zachary.

All of the BREC skateparks are free to the public and open from sunrise to sunset daily.
