Naturally Dyed Easter Eggs - Simple Tutorial

Since completely switching my family's diet to clean foods over 9 weeks ago, I've cut out LOTS of foods that we ate before - including foods that contain artificial dyes. Now, as you can imagine, this complicates things a bit when it comes to performing our normal holiday traditions such as dyeing Easter Eggs. So this year I decided to give natural dyeing methods a try and I have to say - I LOVE the results even more than artificial dye methods. The colors turned out much more vibrant than I even imagined. Simple tutorial: For the colors above I used Curry and Turmeric for the yellow color, onion skins for the orange-red color and purple cabbage for the blue. To create the base for your colors, simply boil your desired ingredient in about 2 cups of water (or more with extra amounts of your ingredient) for 20 minutes. Set aside and let cool completely, strain and then add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar (for each 2 cups of water used). I used 2 whole onion skins, 1 tab
