This past weekend marked my Isabella's 5th birthday so as requested, we decided to have her birthday party at Pretend Play Party in Denham Springs. Isabella had been to PPP for open play on several occasions and every time I've had to pratically drag her out so I had high hopes for her big day.


We were not disappointed. Isabella and her friends (and cousins) had 2 hours of hands-on FUN! They ranged from ages 1-7 and all had a blast.

The birthday party room was already beautifully decorated so we only brought a couple of table top decorations, plates and napkins. You do need to bring your own cake (or cupcakes in our case), ice cream and any food that you want to serve. We picked up a few $5 pizzas from Little Ceasars, which was nearby.

They provided an assistant who helped to corral the kids when it was time to eat and open presents, served the cupcakes and ice cream, documented presents and cleaned up afterwards. She was fabulous and made the whole party stress-free.
