BREC’s Independence Park Theatre will host an “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy,” film viewing on Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. Cocktail party and an 70’s costume contest begin at 6 p.m. Admission is $5 and includes a bag of popcorn.

Put on your best leisure suit, frizz out that hair, bath in that manly musk cologne and strut down to the theatre. This hit comedy explores the life of Ron Burgundy and his loyal Channel 4 News Team, San Diego’s #1 rated news source. Costume contest prizes for those who are best dressed include a pair of tickets to see “Anchorman 2,” fun 70’s memorabilia, or a pass to any show next season at Independence Park Theatre.

Concessions, wine, beer and our signature Ron Burgundy-inspired drink; “The Flying Baxter,” will be available at the cash bar.

The event is for adults only and tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance.

  1. Man I wish I'd found this earlier so I would've known about The Anchorman showing. I bet that was a good time and the weather was wonderful this weekend.
