Once again Trisha Haas, owner of MomDot.com , has put together a fantastic Brandcation called " Bloggers Gone Coastal "! Brandcation - Bloggers working with "brands" while bonding with other bloggers on "vacation". This event will take place May 4-6 in....drumroll....Pensacola Beach, FL!! I have been to the previous two Brandcations in New Orleans ( Bloggers on Bourbon ) and Orlando ( Global Gateway ) and there just aren't enough words to describe what a great experience these trips are. Needless to say, I can't wait for May 4th to get here. You will NOT find classes at Brandcation events, but rather real life conversation in an environment conductive with learning and growing. I learned more about Twitter and SEO in one weekend (from other bloggers) than in 3 years of searching on my own. PLUS....There's Zipling!! This recipe was submitted by Elizabeth courtesy of My Recipes Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups jasmine rice 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup pesto (purchased or homemade) 2 teaspoons lemon zest 1 pound peeled, deveined shrimp (31 to 40 per lb.), tails on 1 tablespoon olive oil 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper 1 cup halved grape tomatoes Directions: 1. Heat a grill to medium heat (you can hold your hand 1 to 2 inches above grill level only 4 to 5 seconds) or set a broiler to high and position a rack 6 inches below the heating element. 2. In a 2- to 3-quart pan, bring 2 1/2 cups water to a boil. Add rice and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Cover, adjust heat to low, and cook until most of the water is absorbed, about 15 minutes. Turn off heat and let sit 5 minutes. Stir in pesto and 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon zest. 3. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl toss shrimp with oil, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest, and the pepper. 4. Grill shrimp, turning once, until cooked through, about 3 minutes per side,

This "Homemade Krystal Burger" recipe was submitted by Rachael Davis from her blog Team Davis . Ingredients: 1/2 cup dried onion flakes 2 lbs ground chuck (80/20 ground beef) 1/2 tsp seasoned salt 6 slices cheddar cheese 24 small party rolls - Martin's Potato Bread Party rolls are the best! 24 dill pickle slices Directions: Evenly spread the onions on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Gently press the ground beef on top of the onion flakes, making one giant patty. Sprinkle with seasoned salt.  Bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes. Using a paper towel, pat the excess grease from the top of the patty.   Top with cheddar cheese, return to oven for 2 more minutes. Remove from the oven. Let stand for 5 minutes, then cut into 24 patties. Slice open and separate each party roll. Put a patty with onion layer onto each roll. Top each slider with a pickle slice and then the bun lid.
