Isabella's New Favorite Local Place to Play - Pretend Play Party in Denham Springs
Yesterday morning I awoke to the declaration that it was going to be an Isabella-Mommy Day, meaning a full day of fun for my little pumpkin. These days are always great binding with the girls since we rarely get one-on-one time together (we also have Skylar-Mommy day and Baylee-Mommy day).
So we sat down and decided on how we would spend this special day. First we would have a Chinese lunch (which means fried rice for Isabella), then we would head to a place that I have been wanting to take her for a while now - Pretend Play Party in Denham Springs. I had heard that it was like a smaller version of The Children's Museum in New Orleans and since she loves it there - why not give it a shot.
I honestly never expected this place to be as great as it is!! First and foremost, this place is clean and organized and that's a big YES in my book. They were even cleaning as we played. Secondly, it's all hands on fun for the little ones. I love a place where kids can pretend to be someone else for an afternoon. There are dress-up clothes at almost every station to enhance their role as a firefighter, construction worker, movie star, Veterinarian and much more!
There is a pretend grocery store where kids can shop or be a cashier and a Cafe where they can take orders and serve other kids or parents. These were Isabella's favorites! Don't worry if you have little ones because there's also an infant area to keep them entertained while their older brothers or sisters play.
I really can't say enough about Pretend Play Party or it's staff. I have definitely found a new favorite place to take Isabella and although it's smaller than The Children's Museum, I know she will always have just as much fun (and it's much closer). As a matter of fact, I already booked her birthday party in February!
