Lemonade Day South Louisiana Free Taste Testing Today, April 26
Area youth will participate in Lemonade Day’s “Best Tasting Lemonade” contest today at The Mall of Louisiana Thursday, April 26th. The event, which kicks-off South Louisiana Lemonade Day festivities, will be judged by local media personalities.
The contest is open to youth of all ages and it’s not too late to join the fun! Contest participants must be registered for Lemonade Day. They can do so online at http://southlouisiana.lemonadeday.org/ or in person at the Tasting Contest. Contestants should bring one quart of their lemonade to the event. Local media personalities will select the best tasting lemonade and award prizes such as Free Cane’s for a Year, Free Tutoring from Club Z! Tutoring and Build-A-Bear stuffed animals. Judges include Alabama Anna of New Country 100.7, Jay Ducote of BiteandBooze.com and Rachael Upton of 225Dine.
*All participants will receive a free goody bag that includes a Free Kid's meal from Raising Cane's.
During the event, children can sign up for Lemonade Day and receive a special backpack filled with an entrepreneur workbook and other materials that will guide them through the process of developing their lemonade stand.
WHEN: THURSDAY, APRIL 26 – TODAY!
4p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Tasting Contest registration
4:30 p.m. – Tasting Contest begins
4p.m. – 6p.m. Lemonade Day registration and Backpack Distribution

Looks like fun. I saw Jay in some sort of crazy weight loss commercial last night. Always a fun event if they involve the Bite and Boozer.
