Hotel Indigo Downtown Baton Rouge - Destined to be a Local Favorite

. What do you think of when you see this picture? Believe it or not, this "moral", at the front desk of Hotel Indigo in downtown Baton Rouge, is a panoramic of downtown Baton Rouge with the city lights reflecting in the Mississippi River. Beautiful right? It's the first thing that I noticed when I walked through the door Tuesday night during a dinner with other local bloggers organized by the hotel. During this dinner, we were treated to Louisiana favorites in the hotel's King Bar & Bistro - Seafood Gumbo, Strawberry Spinach and Pecan Salad, BBQ Shrimp and Bourbon Pecan Pie. Everything from the crabs and shrimp to the strawberries, squash and pecans came from local vendors and farmers. The Tin Roof BBQ Shrimp is a must-have! King Bar & Bistro is open at 6am-10:30 daily for breakfast and 11am-10pm for lunch and dinner.
