2nd Annual Magnolia Mound Cajun Festival - 9:00AM - 6:00PM
Free admission. Parking is $5. Cajun bands, Cajun dancing, Cajun music jam session, Cajun dance lessons, kid's activities, French conversation table, fiddle and accordion lessons, historic buildings tour, traditional plantation crafts and historic demonstrations as well as food and drinks available for purchase. Draw Your Own Graphic Novel - 2:00PM
Jones Creek library at 2 p.m., to bring together both adult and teen graphic novel enthusiasts to begin their own graphic novels. Participants will have approximately two hours to create their own four panel comic strips related to libraries as a starting point for their own piece sequential art. The best sequential entries will receive prizes financed by Walley’s Pop Comics. Pre-registration is required. For more information, call (225) 756-1140.
